Baudour potteries had been operated by several different investors during 1842 and 1977.

Invester and company’s ctivities of each era will be shown with mark as below:

In 1842 to 1847: François-Joseph Declercq bought a small tile and pottery factory in Baudour and then established the "Manufacture de Porcelaine de Baudour", where he adapted the firing technique developed by the ceramist Kalm in Meissen in 1840 and employed highly qualified specialists from Dresden and Sèvres as well as Domestics.

Main products are featuring figure, floral decoration and golden foliation made from materials such as eurite, Montmartre plaster, feldspars, flint, borax, soda and lime carbonate. Several beautiful products can be seen at The Mons Museum of Ceramics.

In 1848 to 1927: Nicolas-Joseph de Fuisseaux took over the factory and the reins of the company was succeeded by his wife in 1857 and by his son in 1888. The factory obtained the cooperation with significant number of painters and artists such as a floral decoration specialists Boulanger from Sèvres specially for producing elegant monograms for hotels, stations, cafes, companies and families.

In 1927 to 1934: The Sociètè anonyme des Pavillons took over the reins of the company in 1927. The production is therefore very similar to that of the de Fuisseaux era. All in all, the productions fairly classical and oriented towards table sets, decorated with relatively simple design. The mistress of the household depicted in the tableau symbolises table art and associates that art with the production of crockery from Baudour.

In 1934 to 1968: The company was bought by one of managements, and the company was named as "CERABEL" in 1934.The company produced large number of household porcelain for special demand of rich Chilean ladies, Belgian maritime company and the Army(order for renewal) and also produced special porcelain with the figure of His Majesty King Baudouin I, commissioned by the local government.

In this period the company exhibited many household porcelains and art porcelains in the National and International Exhibition.  CERABEL's diversified activities in the area of table porcelain and insulators were regrouped under the name "Manufacture Nationale de Porcelaine de Baudour" in 1968. The Production of table porcelain was finally and completely stopped in 1977.
